by Corey Gray ![]() Ghoulish Bath Delights is a little spooky online shop that offers skin care and bath products made from natural ingredients that will scare your problems away. The site is run by an esthetician named Amanda who makes all of the products by hand. She’s an avid horror junkie, so each product is inspired by a different horror movie or horror motif. In the description of her products on her website, she even offers a few horror movies that remind her of the product, so if you’ve already seen the movie that inspired the product, there are some new options for you. The products are all made with tons of luxurious ingredients that will really nourish your skin. ![]() I ordered four bath bombs from Ghoulish Bath Delights. The pricing is comparable to Lush, and because it’s a small, lesser-known business that really uses great ingredients, I was more than willing to spend that money. When they arrived the bath bombs were shrink-wrapped very well to assure that they didn’t crumble into dust in transit. They also came with a sample of “The Punishment of Krampus Salt Scrub”, which not only is a very moisturizing and detoxifying scrub, but it also smells incredible. Imagine finding yourself in a quaint log cabin in the middle of an autumnal evergreen forest. You spend the day wandering through the bristled wood, taking in the fresh, primal air, before you retire back to your cabin. You brew tea from some spruce and pine needles you picked up on your exploration, and then you sip it in front of your fireplace, as it casts dancing shadows all around you. Now, back to reality, I know that was a very longwinded explanation, but the scent was so complex and transporting that I really don’t have any other option to get that across to you all. So far, I’ve tried two of the bath bombs: “Pinhead’s Box”, inspired by the movie “Hellraiser”, and “Your Mother Uses Bath Bombs in Hell”, inspired by “The Exorcist”. Now, I’m going to be honest, “Pinhead’s Box”, while a beautiful bath bomb, is nothing special. The scent is very much like a generic soap, and the pigment in the bath bomb collected in little patches on my body and lingered there until the next time I showered. It was moisturizing, but I definitely wouldn’t repurchase. “Your Mother Uses Bath Bombs in Hell”, though, was as impressive as the salt scrub. The scent of this immediately was just cocoa butter, but the more you immerse yourself in it, the more the complexities reveal themselves to you. The scent is more nuanced and deftly balanced, which is a perfect contrast to the garish green coloring of the bath bomb that was inspired by Regan’s iconic projectile vomit from the film. There’s a sense of history and lore to this scent, and I’ve never had a bath bomb leave me so soft. It has been two days and I’m still just randomly caressing myself because I can’t get over how hydrating the bath bomb was. As a spooky horror child and as a skin care and bath fanatic, this online shop is a dream come true. And who doesn’t love to support a great small business with great products like this. Though I’ve only tried three products so far, and one of them was a miss, the other two stole my heart enough for me to fall in love with this company. I’m aching to test out my other two bath bombs, and I think you should all try out Ghoulish Bath Delight’s products.
