Jeremiah R., Michigan
Once I was lost
in the vast desert of life,
stumbling all alone.
Reaching out to the heavens
searching for an answer,
a sense of peace.
The more I dug deeper,
the further lost I had become.
Twisted and tangled in a web of fear.
Only here in the dark did I sense peace, in this nightmare I found myself.
The battle is far from over
but I know moving forward
that I will find what I'm looking for.
A light at the end of the tunnel,
the man that was buried here all along.
A man among men, my true soul.
Here in a place I now call home.
