RABBIT  HOLE

I took one look and I was hooked

Chasing you as far as I could on foot
I watched you jump, so I did, too
And I fell down,
Down,
Down,
Into the rabbit hole

When I landed, the scenery was new
Only things I'd see in dreams fueled from grew
I searched for you in tea parties and forests,
Even ran into absurd card florists,
But you were too occupied at Heart Castle
I found you with the Queen,
And I figured she stole you with her ravine
So I ran far,
Far,
Far,
Seeking to gain control

I ran with tears streaming down my cheeks,
And came across a cat who seemed to be a sneak
He told me nothing of where I could go,
So I decided to find the hat man again to put on a show
He gave me a crazy beverage, which I drank to my dismay,
And we had fun with the hare, doing things that'd make you pray
They left me all alone with nothing but my thoughts,
Pondering whether or not this is what happens in the plot
And I shook,
Shook,
Shook,
Until I heard a crackle of hard coal

I turned to see a strange blue thing yelling in my direction
Smoke filled the air, clouding my inspection
Suddenly I was in front of him with nothing but my tattered blue dress
He looked me over, now that I'm closer it seemed he needed to reassess
"you seem to be searching for someone, is that true?" he spoke
I proceed to explain my side, ending in a croak
He told me to close my eyes and fall backward, into the ground,
I did as I was told, having no idea where I was bound
I then opened my eyes to find myself lying in a field of daises
So I laughed,
Laughed,
Laughed,

Wishing it was all a dream with all my heart and soul.
